Santiago, Chile

The largest flag in the Southern Hemisphere

Cable car to a great lookout point

Busking on the cable car
The view over Santiago - it never ends!
Another Mary

Jesus - and he's blonde?

A candle of hope for someone who is sick.
In the background are thank you plaques to Virgin Mary from people who have been healed

"The flavours of Inca" restaurant

Santiago's famous cocktail - the Terremoto (Earthquake).
This was apparently the 'magnitude 8.8' version, in tribute to the earthquake that hit in Feb 2010.  It's made of sweet wine and pineapple ice cream, and you leave with the ground feeling very shaky!

Great jeans are really important here!

Cathedral

Classy night life

The next day we went to the interactive kids science museum!

Wall-E! my remote controlled mining robot!

Earthquake simulator - it sounds so realistic!
